Guarantee/Deposit Policy

Every reservation requires a credit card to guarantee by charging 100% of total room payment including government tax and service charge on 7 days before guest arrival. This guarantee can be made confidentially by secured server at the time of making an online reservation or by sending us a credit card guarantee form with signature via fax / email.

Cancellation & No Show Policy

For all bookings through our official hotel website, credit cards details held by The Grand Luang Prabang will only be debited for cancellation/no show charge, if any following conditions occurs

 

Peak Season: December 23th - January 2nd

  • Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival - No charge.
  • Cancellations within 30 days before arrival - 50% of full duration charge*.
  • No Show – 100% full duration of booking will be charged.

High Season: October 1st - December 22nd & January 3rd - April 30th

  • Cancellations more than 15 days before arrival - No charge.
  • Cancellations within 15 days before arrival -50% of full duration charge*.
  • No Show - 100% full duration of booking will be charged.

Low Season: May 1st - September 30th

  • Cancellations more than 7 days prior to arrival - No charge.
  • Cancellations within 7 days prior to arrival - 1 night charge.
  • No Show - 1 night charge.

Remark: * 50% of full duration charge.  In case of booking for 1 night, cancellation within 30 days (in Peak season) or 15 days (in High season) prior to arrival will be charged for 1 night as minimum charge.

 

Refund Policy

If any cancellation occurs after guest credit card account was debited to The Grand Luang Prabang for deposit/guarantee without cancellation fee, the hotel will credit back to guest’s credit card account in the full amount the hotel charged earlier with deduction of transaction fee (6% of the full amount charged by credit card company).
